CA Kamal Gangaramani B. Com., FCA, DISA(ICAI): Changes in MVAT rates w.e.f 1-5-2011
Dear Sir
Our client is getting service from from Infra Structure providing company for execution of its Power project in the State of Maharastra. The service provider has raised RA bill for the Civil works portion with service tax @12%. Whether service receiver (our client) has to pay the VAT or not if so what is rate of tax he has to pay.
